The University of Lagos (UNILAG), Akoka, management says it is impressed with the compliance level of students laid down for the re-absorption of students into the campus.
This is conatained in a statement released by the Deputy Registrar, Information Unit of the Institution, Toyin Adebule and issued to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on saturday in Lagos.
According to the statement, a total of 19,373 students had downloaded the forms as at 12:30 p.m. on Friday , April 2016.
It said that contrary to the resistance put up by the proscribed students' union leaders of the institution, students have been seen at their various faculties to sign the necessary forms ahead of the school resumption.
We reported earlier that the senate announced that the institution would resume full academic activities on May 2nd, 2016. The school had earlier been shut as a result of the unrest carried out by students due to incessant electricity breakdown and poor water supply in the school community.
Students will only be allowed to participate in the 2015/2016 first semester examinations as well as gain access to their respective halls of residence upon completion of all foirms.
